A young teenager has initiated legal proceedings against his parents, alleging that they forcefully took him to Africa and placed him in a boarding school before leaving him there.
The boy, whose identity has been kept confidential, sought help from the British Consulate and a child welfare organization after his parents enrolled him in a school in Africa and then went back to the United Kingdom.
His legal team claims that his parents abandoned him both physically and emotionally out of concerns about his potential involvement in London gangs, an accusation that the teenager strongly refutes.
As per his representative, he was sent to a foreign school without prior notice or discussion, under the guise of looking after a sick relative. Upon reaching the destination, his parents left him there.
