25-year-old found hanging in Ogun forest

The Ogun State Police Command has initiated an investigation into the death of a 25-year-old individual named Toye Dominic, who was discovered hanging in a forest near Alagbodagbo Village, Ijebu Igbo. The incident was reported by a local hunter, Kareem Olawalose, who found the deceased during a hunting expedition. Toye’s elder brother, Joseph Dominic, was informed of the situation.

Upon arrival at the scene, both police officers and villagers noted that Toye had left his farm tools behind before proceeding deeper into the forest, where he was found hanging from a tree. No suicide note was discovered, leaving family members in shock and disbelief.

The police have gathered photographic evidence at the scene, and the body has been taken to the General Hospital in Ijebu Ode for further examination. The police command expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and assured a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
