Beyoncé has made history by becoming the most-nominated artist in Grammy history with 11 nominations for her latest album, Cowboy Carter, bringing her total career nominations to 99. This surpasses her husband Jay-Z’s 88 nominations, solidifying the Carters as a Grammy power couple.
The Recording Academy President praised Beyoncé for setting a new standard in Grammy milestones, highlighting her impact across genres and generations. Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, which delves into Texas sounds and stories, received nominations for Album of the Year and Country Album of the Year, marking her first nods in the country and Americana categories.
Her single, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” received nominations in Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Country Song of the Year, showcasing her influence across various music genres. If Beyoncé secures Album of the Year, she will become the first Black woman in the 21st century to achieve this accolade since Lauryn Hill’s win in 1999.
Post Malone, a first-time nominee in country categories, earned recognition for F-1 Trillion, his debut country album. Other artists like Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX also received multiple nominations, with the 2025 Grammy Awards promising an exciting competition among music’s top talents.
