The Governor of Edo State extended his congratulations to the residents of Ondo State for choosing Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress as their governor in the recent election.
According to the official results announced by the Ondo State Governorship Returning Officer, Lucky Aiyedatiwa garnered 366,781 votes, surpassing the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Agboola Ajayi, who received 117,845 votes.
In a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, the Edo State Governor expressed his commitment to collaborating closely with Governor Aiyedatiwa for the progress and prosperity of both Edo and Ondo States.
He also offered prayers for Governor Aiyedatiwa, asking for wisdom in leading the state over the next four years and bringing further development to the people.
The Governor acknowledged Aiyedatiwa’s win as a positive sign and emphasized their joint effort in fostering peace and growth in their respective states as neighboring leaders.
He conveyed gratitude to the voters in Ondo State for their support, expressing confidence in Aiyedatiwa’s ability to enhance prosperity within the state and the nation as a whole.
