The Kebbi State government recently clarified false reports suggesting its involvement in illegal mining activities in the state. The commissioner emphasized the government’s commitment to regulating the mining sector, highlighting actions taken to suspend unauthorized mining operations across the state. Regarding a specific dispute between two mining companies in the Libata area, the commissioner stressed that the state ministry had no part in the conflict and that both companies had undergone the necessary registration processes.
