The Governor of Edo State has approved the immediate dissolution of the Local Government Service Commission as part of efforts to improve transparency and efficiency in the public service sector.
The decision, announced by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, is in line with broader initiatives to streamline government operations and enhance the performance of public sector institutions within the state.
The governor reassured citizens that the dissolution would not disrupt ongoing official activities and expressed his commitment to working with stakeholders to restructure the commission for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
