NOVA Bank achieves global cybersecurity certification

NOVA Bank, a prominent commercial bank in Nigeria, has recently achieved the ISO 27032 Cybersecurity Standard certification, a globally recognized accreditation.

The bank’s acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Chinwe Iloghalu, expressed the significance of this certification for the institution and its clientele.

She highlighted how this accomplishment places the bank among the leading financial institutions in Nigeria, showcasing its dedication to protecting customer data and digital operations.

Iloghalu mentioned that NOVA Bank is already certified in ISO 27001 for Information Security Management and BCMS 22301 for Business Continuity Management, further demonstrating its commitment to operational excellence and security.

Emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity, Iloghalu assured customers that their data and transactions are safeguarded by top-tier security measures, solidifying trust and ensuring a secure and innovative banking experience.

Additionally, Dr. David Isavwe, the bank’s Executive Director for Operations and Information Technology, highlighted the proactive stance of the bank in addressing cybersecurity challenges and ensuring robust protection for data, systems, and online transactions.
