Osun pledges support for diasporan investors

The government of Osun State has expressed its willingness to support indigenes living abroad who are interested in investing in the state. They highlighted the benefits of investing in rural communities, emphasizing the business-friendly environment, security, and infrastructure available to support businesses.

During a visit to Prinaj Resort and Suites, a 35-room hotel in Ere-Ijesha, Osun State, the State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Abiodun Ojo, praised the facilities available at the hotel and how it has positively impacted the local economy. He specifically commended the Chairman of Prinaj Group for contributing to job creation in the area.

The commissioner reiterated the state government’s commitment to collaborating with both local and international investors looking to create job opportunities through their investments in Osun State. He emphasized the importance of improving infrastructure, especially road networks leading to tourist destinations, to boost tourism and cultural development in the state.

Ojo highlighted the role of such facilities in job creation and economic stimulation within the community, expressing the government’s support for investors willing to bring similar developments to rural areas in the state. He assured potential investors of an enabling environment and government assistance to ensure the success of their investments.
