Tinubu’s vision for the project 25 years ago as a governor is now being realized during his presidency. The Minister defended the project as essential for the country’s development, despite opposition from some quarters. He also commended the Senate Committee on Works for their support of the president’s initiatives and highlighted the importance of continuity in completing ongoing projects.
