In Kebbi State, the Governor recently appointed 200 youths from the All Progressives Congress as special assistants, showcasing inclusivity by appointing both male and female individuals. The appointments were announced at the APC Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi. The state party Chairman commended the Governor for fulfilling 80% of the promises made during the election campaign and assured that the remaining commitments would also be met. Some achievements highlighted include the distribution of fertilizers and SMEs to farmers, as well as the provision of free food items. Infrastructure developments such as road constructions and the completion of a modern state secretariat were also mentioned. The Governor’s commitment to an open and inclusive government that benefits all citizens was emphasized. The new appointees were promised salaries starting from December. The APC Women Leader expressed gratitude for the appointments, emphasizing that the benefits extend to the entire community. She encouraged loyalty and respect among youths to reap more benefits of democracy. Beneficiary youths praised the Governor for his people-centric approach to governance.
