The Governor of Anambra State recently expressed his confidence in the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, believing that she will excel in her role in the government. This endorsement was made during a meeting of the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s National Executive Committee in Abuja. The event marked the first gathering of APGA after the Supreme Court upheld Sly Ezeokenwa as the party’s National Chairman. Various notable figures attended the meeting, including the Minister, a Senator, and a House of Representatives member.
The Minister, who has a background as Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Spain and Permanent Representative to the UN Tourism Organization, was commended for her diplomatic experience. The Governor also praised the President for his commitment to inclusivity in governance and acknowledged the significance of having a minister from APGA in the federal cabinet.
Furthermore, the Governor lauded the judiciary for its recent decisions, emphasizing the importance of the rule of law and justice for all. The National Chairman of APGA echoed these sentiments, highlighting the Governor’s effective leadership in Anambra State and emphasizing the party’s commitment to social welfare and infrastructure development.
