A group of 310 Nigerian returnees from the Niger Republic was received by the National Emergency Management Agency, in cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration and the National Refugee Commission.
Details of the reception were shared in a statement earlier this week.
The National Emergency Management Agency’s Kano Territorial Office, along with the International Organisation for Migration and the National Refugee Commission, facilitated the reception of the returnees.
The returnees arrived at the Immigration Training School in Kano and were welcomed by NEMA and other stakeholders.
The group of returnees comprised 98 female adults, 41 male adults, 85 male children, and 86 female children.
