Cubana Chief Priest denies relationship with man whom Burna Boy gifted $30,000

A well-known Nigerian figure, Pascal Okechukwu, commonly referred to as Cubana Chief Priest, has denied any familial connection to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer who recently received attention for being promised money by Burna Boy, a popular Afrobeats artist.

Cubana Chief Priest used his Instagram story to clarify that the individual in the viral video, rumored to be his brother, is not related to him.

Burna Boy had committed to giving $30,000 to Bethel, leading to widespread interest and speculation regarding Cubana Chief Priest’s association with the young man.

Cubana Chief Priest expressed, “Alleged brother! Skit makers causing trouble. They have put him on his knees, you might still bend him further because everyone must feel the pain, but the issue is I haven’t received any alert or cash, I just want to confirm that my villager truly received the money. My glory remains intact. Provide evidence; you could even give him a verse as a musician.”

Cubana Chief Priest also stressed that he has only three biological siblings – one brother and two sisters – who are independent and do not depend on him financially.
