The Anambra State Police Command has initiated a search for the perpetrators responsible for the tragic murder of three children in Nise community, Awka South Local Government Area. The unknown assailants entered the compound by scaling the fence and proceeded to carry out the heinous act before leaving undetected. The children, aged between two and six, were found dead with their mouths bound and bodies placed inside a parked Mercedes Benz car on the premises.
While the motive behind the killings has not been officially confirmed, speculation suggests a possible connection to disputes between the children’s father, a native doctor and businessman, and unidentified individuals over a business deal. The father, described as being in his early thirties, reportedly had disagreements with certain parties, although it remains uncertain if this conflict led to the tragic deaths of his children.
Police spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are ongoing. Efforts to locate the suspects have been intensified with the help of information gathered from the local community. The father of the children was unavailable for comment at the time.
Authorities have taken control of the crime scene, recovered the bodies, and are working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the gruesome murders. The public will be updated on the progress of the investigation as soon as more details emerge.
