The West African Examinations Council has decided to offer resit examinations for candidates who wish to retake their West African Senior Secondary Examinations papers in January and February 2025. This initiative was confirmed by WAEC’s Head of Public Affairs, John Kapi, during an interview on a television show in Ghana. Students who need to retake one or two papers can register online on the WAEC website or at authorized internet cafés before 8th January. The resit exams are scheduled to take place between 24th January and 15th February 2025. Additionally, students whose results were canceled can also participate in the WASSCE PC1 exams, as long as they are not banned for any misconduct.
