Shun corruption, embrace professionalism, Abia CP tells police officers

The Police Commissioner in Abia State, CP Danladi Isa, addressed a group of 63 newly promoted officers, emphasizing the importance of upholding the integrity of the Police Force. He urged the officers to demonstrate professionalism and respect towards the public while carrying out their duties. CP Isa highlighted the increased responsibilities that come with promotion within the force and cautioned against behaviors such as extortion and corruption that could tarnish the image of the police.

He reminded the officers that they serve the public and must earn respect by showing respect in return. Building trust with the community is crucial for gathering valuable information and ensuring a safe environment. CP Isa congratulated the newly promoted officers and stressed the significance of maintaining professionalism in their roles.

Among the promoted officers were individuals from various ranks, including Chief Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police, and Deputy Superintendent of Police. In response to CP Isa’s remarks, CSP Linda Balogun assured that the officers would fulfill their duties with a high level of professionalism and dedication.
