The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed its commitment to working together with local security organizations to combat criminal activities and killer herdsmen in the South-East region. In a recent announcement, the spokesperson for IPOB emphasized the group’s stance against all forms of criminality and its readiness to cooperate with local security groups to eradicate criminals from the area.
The statement also called out politicians in the region for allegedly supporting criminal elements, attributing the rise in crime and insecurity in the South-East to their actions. IPOB reiterated its willingness to collaborate with local security outfits to address these challenges and emphasized its dedication to fighting against injustice and lawlessness.
The message highlighted the group’s resistance against attempts to associate it with insecurity in the region, pointing out the timeline of events and questioning the motives behind such accusations. IPOB reaffirmed its commitment to its cause of seeking freedom for the Biafran people through peaceful means and condemned any attempts to undermine its efforts.
