Authorities in Lagos State have apprehended more than 25 individuals for illegal dumping, which includes six vehicle owners caught using their vehicles to dispose of significant amounts of waste.
The state’s Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, revealed this information following a public complaint about illegal dumping activities at Abati Primary School along Shasha Road in the Alimosho area of the state.
According to Wahab, all those arrested, including the six vehicle owners, will face legal consequences for their actions.
