Adebanjo: Adeboye, Anyaoku, Osinbajo, Obi, ex-govs attend commendation service

Numerous dignitaries gathered at the late Pa Ayo Adebanjo’s Lekki residence for a commendation service, including the likes of a former Vice President, a former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, a presidential candidate, former governors, and various other prominent figures. The residence has been receiving condolence visits from individuals across the nation following the passing of the 96-year-old Yoruba socio-cultural leader.

Attendees at the service included Afenifere Deputy Leader, former governors, a senator, and other notable personalities. Tributes poured in on social media, honoring Adebanjo’s legacy of advocating for justice, equity, and democracy. The Labour Party National Chairman expressed deep sorrow over Adebanjo’s demise, highlighting the late leader’s unwavering commitment to the party’s ideals.

Renowned figures such as a prominent lawyer and the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum also paid their respects to Adebanjo, praising his contributions to justice, democracy, and national unity. The forum emphasized Adebanjo’s dedication to fairness and good governance, urging Nigerians to continue his pursuit for justice and unity.
