A recent operation led by the Department for Combating Illegal Migration in Libya resulted in the deportation of 48 Nigerian women and two children, with support from Nigeria’s consular services and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The repatriation process took place through Mitiga International Airport to ensure the safe return of these individuals to Nigeria.
