An unidentified middle-aged man has tragically taken his own life in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred on a Monday morning in the L.Adisa area within the Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.
The lifeless body of the man was found in the bushes behind the World Oil Petro Station, hanging from a tree along the Ibadan-Oyo expressway.
The details surrounding his death remain unclear at this time.
Security personnel, including the Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, and the Western Security Network known as Operation Amotekun, are present at the location to remove the body.
Upon reaching out to the State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, he confirmed the incident and mentioned that an investigation has been initiated.
Osifeso stated, “The case is currently under investigation. Further updates will be provided in due course.”
