The ruling All Progressives Congress has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu will be present to chair today’s National Caucus meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The National Secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, stated in an interview that the President has confirmed his attendance for the meeting.
Basiru assured that there are no plans to postpone the Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
Last year, these meetings were called off without a specified reason, but now they are set to proceed as planned.
The National Caucus meeting is scheduled for February 25 at the Presidential Villa banquet hall, while the NEC meeting will follow the next day at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The meetings will be chaired by President Bola Tinubu and attended by various party members, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Muhammadu Buhari, National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Senate President Dr. Godswill Akpabio, and other stakeholders.
These sessions mark Ganduje’s first participation as the national chairman of the APC in these meetings.
