In a recent development at the Magistrate Court in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos State, popular musician Naira Marley, also known as Abdulazeez Fashola, has been acquitted regarding the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, famously known as Mohbad. The court, following the legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution, Lagos, found Naira Marley not guilty and cleared him of any charges. Additionally, music promoter Samson Balogun, known as Sam Larry, Owodunni Ibrahim, also called Primeboy, and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde were also released by the court. The Directorate of Public Prosecution mentioned that it will be pursuing the case against the auxiliary nurse who attended to Mohbad, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and one of Mohbad’s acquaintances, Ayobami Sadiq, for their alleged reckless and negligent behavior. These individuals are set to face prosecution at the magistrate court.
