The departure of Ifeoma Nwobu, who was the co-founder and chief operating officer of Sendstack, marks a significant change at the logistics startup. The company has recently set a new revenue target of $1 million by 2025, which is four times its earnings over the past three years.
Following Nwobu’s exit, Emeka Mba-Kalu, the CEO of Sendstack, will now lead the small team as they navigate through recent transformations. The company has undergone pivots, including shutting down its last-mile delivery aggregator and shifting towards fleet management and integrating AirTag-like trackers.
Prior to her role at Sendstack, Nwobu worked with Mba-Kalu at an e-commerce startup. She initially joined Sendstack as head of growth before becoming a co-founder and COO in August 2021.
Besides her operational and sales responsibilities, Nwobu was a key figure in representing Sendstack at various events. Her pitch at a demo day hosted by Norrsken garnered attention, despite the company’s modest funding from investors.
Before her tech career, Nwobu had experience as a supermodel and had founded a thrift fashion business. The reasons behind her departure from Sendstack remain undisclosed, with no comments provided by Nwobu or Mba-Kalu regarding the split.
