VIDEO: Woman behind fake ₦500M testimony arrested, says Ebuka Obi

The leader of a local prayer group, Ebuka Obi, shared that a woman who falsely claimed to have purchased a ₦500m mansion during a testimony at his church has been apprehended.

Obi, speaking during a sermon, emphasized his commitment to uncovering the truth behind the fabricated story.

The woman, whose name was not disclosed, initially shared her untrue testimony at the church, but investigations revealed her real occupation as a local seller, discrediting her claims.

In a recorded statement, Obi mentioned, “I have heard that the woman has been taken into custody. We are closely following the case to reveal the truth behind it. We are keen to know her motives,” he explained.

Furthermore, he alleged that some individuals are paying bloggers to defame his character and vowed to expose them.

It is important to note that the religious leader had previously denied any personal association with the woman and accused her of deceiving the church and God.
