In a recent court session before Justice Ibrahim Yusuf at the state High Court in Ilorin, seven individuals facing charges related to the alleged murder of a final year female student at Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, pleaded not guilty. The prosecution had filed six counts against them, including conspiracy, murder, disappearance of evidence, and dumping of the victim’s body. Among those accused were individuals suspected of conspiring to cause the victim’s death, as well as others implicated in the disposal of the body. The defendants were remanded in a correctional facility due to a previous adjournment, with the judge emphasizing the need for a swift trial. The case was adjourned for a hearing in March 2025.
