The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, along with other party leaders, recently visited Abdul-Azeez Adediran, also known as Jandor, following his resignation as the party’s 2023 Lagos State governorship candidate. Adediran cited betrayal and lack of discipline as reasons for his departure from the PDP’s Lagos4Lagos Movement. Despite his decision to leave, the PDP leaders urged Adediran to reconsider and return to the party. They acknowledged his concerns but encouraged him to come back. Adediran expressed gratitude for their support and mentioned his willingness to collaborate with allies, despite political differences. He left the party with his supporters from various areas in Lagos State, attributing his departure to internal party issues. Adediran plans to reveal his next political steps in the future.
