Anambra 2025: APC begins screening of governorship aspirants Friday 

The All Progressives Congress announced the commencement of a screening exercise to assess the eligibility of its governorship aspirants starting on Friday, March 7. The party has generated N350 million from the sale of nomination forms for the upcoming primary election in Anambra State. Seven aspirants have been nominated after submitting the required N50 million forms before the deadline. The aspirants include Prof Obiora Okonkwo, Nicholas Ukachukwu, Chukuma Umeoji, Paul Chukwuma, Onunkwo Johnbisco Obinna, Valentine Ozigbo, and Edozie Madu. The screening schedule has been revised, with Chukwuma, Okonkwo, and Ukachukwu scheduled for Friday, and the remaining candidates set for Saturday. The screening will take place at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
