The head of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, has assured Dr. George Moghalu that a fair competition will be provided for all aspirants seeking the party’s ticket for the upcoming governorship election in Anambra State. Abure emphasized that there is no favored candidate and that the selection process will be transparent and unbiased.
During the return of Moghalu’s completed forms to the party’s office in Abuja, Abure reiterated that the party’s members will have the final say in choosing their candidate. He encouraged Moghalu to engage with the people of Anambra and earn their support.
Moghalu, in response, expressed gratitude for the opportunity presented by the party’s leadership. He pledged to put in his best effort to secure the party’s ticket and ultimately win the election, aiming to unseat the incumbent Governor Charles Soludo.
Both Abure and Moghalu acknowledged the importance of divine guidance in the political process, with Moghalu expressing his commitment to serving the people of Anambra if given the opportunity.
