Security authorities have initiated a rescue mission for a kidnapped official of the Defence Headquarters, along with two others, in the Federal Capital Territory. The victims were taken from their home in the Mpape area. A source revealed that the kidnappers have demanded a N100m ransom for their release. Efforts to reach key military personnel for comments were unsuccessful. The Federal Capital Territory Police Command spokesperson mentioned they would confirm the incident and provide updates.
