Wema Bank has announced plans to reward customers as it celebrates its 81st anniversary alongside the 9th anniversary of its digital platform, ALAT.
The bank, in a statement shared with Saturday , said the celebration, scheduled for May 2, 2026, will feature giveaways on the ALAT app and the launch of Season 5 of its “5 for 5” reward initiative.
It noted that, unlike its 80th anniversary in 2025, this year’s celebration would focus on giving back to customers, in line with its theme, “Your Future of Possibilities, Powered by Wema Bank.”
The bank also disclosed plans to introduce a customer success initiative aimed at supporting various segments, including students, businesses, working-class women and creatives, with tailored opportunities and strategic guidance.
Speaking on the development, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Moruf Oseni, said, “The world is rapidly evolving. Digital evolution and emerging technologies continue to present newer opportunities and realities.”
