NSCDC recovers Kano court property looted by protesters

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kano State has returned looted equipment to their rightful owners following the nationwide protest. The command recovered valuable items belonging to the Nigerian Communication Commission and the state High Court. Items included Cisco Switches, computer sets, air conditioners, chairs, doors/windows, photocopy machines, and law publications. The equipment, worth over N400 million, was returned to the NCC’s Digital Industrial Park and the state High Court.

The command successfully retrieved the equipment shortly after it was stolen during the protest. Representatives from the NCC and the state High Court expressed appreciation for the efforts of the NSCDC in recovering the items and emphasized the importance of the existing relationship between the institutions.

Mohammed Falala, the state NSCDC Commandant, reiterated the command’s dedication to safeguarding national assets and infrastructure.
