Kebbi to reconstruct bridges washed away by flood

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has made a commitment to repair the bridges and roads that were damaged in the Suru and Maiyama Local Government Areas of the state. During an inspection of the washed-away bridge along the Suru-Kawara-Dakingari road and flood-damaged rice farms in Suru local government, the governor pledged to reconstruct the infrastructure.

Governor Idris emphasized his administration’s dedication to supporting all residents of the state. He announced plans to rehabilitate bridges, repair roads, and provide ongoing assistance to farmers to enhance food production. Ensuring food security in Kebbi State is a top priority for the government.

Hon. Faruku Maisudan, a member of the State House of Assembly representing Suru Constituency, commended the governor for his initiatives to support farmers by providing essential resources.
