Think of me as someone like Santa Claus, but instead of delivering gifts from the North Pole, I help people send money to their family and friends who are far away.
From starting as an intern to becoming a director, how did you achieve this?
I earned a reputation for handling challenging tasks effectively and producing excellent results. I am passionate about learning and implementing new ideas. Being resilient, understanding the business operations, and recognizing the contributions of various roles were key factors in my progress.
How have these skills been beneficial in your current role?
Every experience has been valuable, from learning patience and empathy in previous roles to crisis management and community engagement. Understanding growth perspectives from different positions has contributed significantly to my current role.
What sparked your interest in remittances?
My initial motivation was to create a service that would benefit my sister by simplifying currency management. As friends moved away, I found inspiration to develop solutions for their needs as well.
