Edo poll: I’ll be governor for all, says Okpebholo

The candidate representing the All Progressives Congress in the upcoming governorship election on September 21 stated that if elected, he would serve as the governor for all the people of Edo, not just a specific region. This declaration was made during a campaign event in Iguobazuwa, Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring government presence is felt throughout the state.

He further promised to alleviate the challenges faced by the people of Edo State once in office. Another candidate, Dennis Idahosa, urged the residents of Ovia to support the APC, highlighting the support received from local political leaders who have joined the party.

Former House of Representatives member, Omosede Igbinedion, also advocated for voting for the APC in the upcoming election. She emphasized her alignment with Dennis Idahosa in the APC and encouraged residents to vote for the party to secure victory for the gubernatorial candidate.

Former governor Adams Oshiomhole endorsed the APC candidate during a separate event, urging the community to show their support by voting for the party on September 21. He reminded the people of their past support for Dennis Idahosa and emphasized the importance of rallying behind the APC once again.
