Delta deputy gov seeks PDP’s return to power

The Deputy Governor of Delta State recently encouraged members of the Peoples Democratic Power to put in effort to bring the party back to power by 2027. He emphasized the need for dedication and loyalty to the party during a visit from non-working party members of the State Executive Committee in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.

Addressing the challenges faced by Nigerians due to frequent increases in fuel prices, the Deputy Governor highlighted the importance of the PDP’s leadership in the past when fuel prices were stable and democratic freedoms were enjoyed. He urged party members to stay steadfast and work diligently to reinstate the PDP in power for the benefit of the country and its citizens.

The Deputy Governor criticized the current ruling party, APC, for its handling of fuel price hikes and the limitations placed on citizens’ freedom to protest. He expressed hope for a better future under the PDP’s governance and urged party members to unite for the country’s redemption.

Appreciating the party executives for their visit, the Deputy Governor commended those who succeeded in party elections. The group’s Chairman reiterated their dedication to the party and the people of Delta State.
