The Labour Party’s National Caretaker Committee Chairperson, along with the 2023 Gubernatorial Candidate of the party in Kaduna State, expressed their condolences to the family of the late Women Leader of Chikun Local Government Area, Mrs. Grace Felix.
Since the news of her passing on September 2, 2024, sympathizers have been visiting Mrs. Felix’s home in Kudenda to pay their respects.
The Kaduna State Chairman of the party, Yusuf Danbaki, led a delegation to the deceased’s family residence to offer condolences on behalf of the Labour Party National Working Committee. He highlighted Mrs. Felix’s dedication to the party and her passion for party affairs.
Danbaki praised the late Mrs. Grace for her commitment to unity and promoting the party’s image, stating her significant role in the previous election where a Labour Party candidate emerged victorious in the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency.
He expressed regret that Mrs. Grace’s absence would be felt in the upcoming local government elections, noting her influence as a vital grassroots mobilizer within the party.
Danbaki also acknowledged the patience and support shown by Mrs. Felix’s husband, recognizing her invaluable contributions to the party’s progress during her lifetime.
