Deranged bandit kingpin, Turji’ll  be arrested soon- CDS

The head of the military, General Christopher Musa, has made a commitment to capture a notorious terrorist leader named Bello Turji. Turji is infamous for leading attacks in Zamfara and imposing a hefty levy on residents for protection. General Musa referred to Turji as deranged and expressed confidence in his swift capture.

In a press briefing in Abuja, General Musa assured the public that efforts are underway to address the issue of bandits imposing levies. He emphasized the need for unity in combating the bandits and urged citizens not to provide them with any support or information that could aid their activities.

General Musa also revealed plans to streamline military operations in the Northwest under a unified command called Operation Kasar Yamma. This restructuring aims to enhance coordination and efficiency in addressing security challenges in the region.

Furthermore, General Musa highlighted the detrimental impact of locals supporting bandits, citing an incident where bandits were alerted to attack military vehicles. He urged Nigerians to refrain from aiding the bandits and emphasized the importance of collective efforts to combat insecurity.
