The Benue State Universal Basic Education Board Chairperson, Dr. Grace Adagba, has initiated a campaign to increase the enrollment of children in public schools across the state. This effort includes monitoring schools to ensure they maintain proper infrastructure and deliver quality education.
The campaign aims to enhance enrollment rates and ensure that schools comply with new educational standards introduced as part of reforms in the basic education sector. Inspections are being conducted to verify adherence to the set standards, which are designed to enhance infrastructure, teacher quality, and the overall learning environment in public schools.
Dr. Adagba emphasized the importance of education for the future of the state while addressing students and parents at various schools. The goal is to provide every child in Benue State with access to quality basic education in a conducive learning setting.
