The Kano State Government recently extended a gesture of goodwill by donating N100 million to aid flood victims in Borno State. The donation was presented to Governor Babagana Zulum by representatives of Governor Abba Yusuf, including the State Commissioner for Information and the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Eradication. The donation was confirmed in a press release by the Director of Special Duties at the Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs. Governor Yusuf emphasized the strong bond between Kano and Borno States, expressing profound sympathy for the flood victims and stressing the need for collective support during such crises. He offered prayers for the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
