A statement released by the university’s spokesperson, Dr. Sam Kpenu, addressed the misleading reports alleging recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff, emphasizing that no such recruitment advertisement has been issued by the university.
Kpenu highlighted that the misinformation was likely generated by fraudulent individuals and advised the public to disregard such publications.
The university emphasized that any official recruitment announcements would be made through established media channels and the university’s official website, rather than social media.
In case of future employment opportunities, the University of Port Harcourt assured that recruitment information would be communicated through mainstream media and its official website.
