The police have arrested a significant number of suspects involved in violent crimes, including armed robbery, kidnapping, murder, illegal possession of firearms, sexual offenses, and cultism. The recovery of firearms, ammunition, vehicles, and the rescue of kidnapped victims further demonstrate the effectiveness of the police crackdown on criminal activities. In a recent development, the police made a breakthrough by dismantling a gunrunning syndicate in the Bauchi-Plateau area, leading to the arrest of key individuals involved in illegal arms trafficking. The Inspector General of Police emphasizes the force’s dedication to maintaining law and order and urges public support in achieving this goal.
