The Governor of Bauchi State, in his capacity as the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, responded to a recent threat made by another prominent figure within the party. He made it clear that no one can disrupt the peace in Bauchi as they are well-prepared to handle any challenges that may arise. This response came after a warning from the other party member to stay out of internal party matters or face consequences.
During a meeting with the PDP National Working Committee, the Governor reaffirmed his stance and expressed gratitude for the committee’s unexpected visit. He emphasized the need for unity and respect within the party, highlighting the PDP’s historical significance in the country.
In a separate development, a group within the Osun State chapter of the PDP called on the party’s governors to take action against the aforementioned party member for his recent behavior. The group questioned the special treatment given to this individual and urged party leadership to address the issue promptly to maintain the party’s integrity and effectiveness as an opposition party.
