The latest Federal Government savings bond for September 2027 has received successful subscriptions totaling N2.75 billion, offering an 18.20% coupon rate.
The subscription period for this bond occurred from September 2 to September 6, 2024.
Results for the September 2024 Federal Government savings bond allotment revealed 930 successful subscriptions for the three-year bond maturing on September 11, 2027.
Investors in this bond will receive quarterly coupon payments on December 11, March 11, June 11, and September 11 until maturity.
Similarly, the two-year FGN Savings Bond, maturing in September 2026, offered a 17.202% coupon rate and garnered N843.58 million from 418 successful subscriptions during the same offer period.
The bonds will officially be issued to successful subscribers on September 11, 2024, marking the next settlement date.
In a previous offering in August, the Debt Management Office presented two Federal Government of Nigeria savings bonds for subscription at N1,000 per unit.
The first option is a two-year FGN savings bond maturing on August 21, 2026, featuring a 17.373% annual coupon rate.
