Edo poll: APC slams Peter Obi, calls him serial complainer

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has been criticized by the All Progressives Congress for consistently challenging election outcomes that do not favor him or his candidates. The APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described Obi as a habitual complainer during an interview on Arise TV. Morka emphasized that Obi’s opinions on elections hold no significance and that he tends to deny election results that do not align with his preferences. Following Obi’s remarks on the Edo State governorship election, where he criticized the process as a “blatant example of state capture,” the APC urged those dissatisfied with the results to seek legal recourse instead of spreading unsubstantiated allegations. Morka highlighted the importance of presenting concrete evidence in court to support any claims of election irregularities.
