Meta, a prominent tech company, recently revealed a new feature at the Meta Connect 2024 developer conference in Menlo Park. This feature integrates celebrity voices into its artificial intelligence chatbot, Meta AI. Users of platforms like Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Facebook can now engage in real-time conversations using voices of celebrities such as Awkwafina, Dame Judi Dench, John Cena, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kristen Bell. The aim of this new voice feature is to enhance user interaction, providing a variety of voices for communication. It is noted that this offering differs from OpenAI’s Advanced Voice Mode for ChatGPT, known for its expressive tones, resembling Google’s Gemini Live instead.
