The government of Rivers State has expressed its condolences to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on the passing of his wife, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, after a brief illness. Governor Siminalayi Fubara conveyed his sympathies in a message delivered in Port Harcourt, acknowledging the sorrowful news of the First Mother of Akwa Ibom state’s demise on September 26, 2024. The message, released by Chief Press Secretary Nelson Chukwudi, conveyed the governor’s shock and sadness at the loss of Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno. The governor recognized the pain of losing a beloved partner and expressed solidarity with Governor Umo Eno during this difficult time. The people of Rivers State also offered their prayers for strength and comfort to the Governor and his family as they grieve the loss.
