Akor Adams, a former Flying Eagles striker, is eager to showcase his goal-scoring abilities in the Spanish La Liga after signing a five-year contract with Sevilla. The 25-year-old recently joined the team from French Ligue 1 side Montpellier for a reported fee of €5.5m.
Adams expressed his readiness to integrate quickly into the team and make a positive impact. Despite facing a goal drought at Montpellier, he is optimistic about rediscovering his form in Spain, aiming to replicate his past successes in Norway and France.
Sevilla’s Sporting Director, Víctor Orta, highlighted Adams’ strengths and versatility as a striker, emphasizing his physicality, speed, and ability to adapt to different playing styles. Orta believes that Adams’ experience in competitive leagues will be beneficial for the team.
Sevilla, currently positioned 12th in the La Liga standings, are aiming to secure a spot in the Europa Conference League with Adams’ contribution expected to bolster their offensive capabilities.
