Ajayi steps up injury recovery

A football update reveals that Semi Ajayi, a defender for West Bromwich Albion, is making progress in his recovery from injury. He recently played in an U-21 game for the team as part of his rehabilitation process.

Ajayi had been out of action since November due to a serious hamstring injury that required surgery. West Brom’s new manager, Tony Mowbray, is closely monitoring Ajayi’s recovery to assess when he can rejoin the first-team squad.

The defender’s injury, described by former manager Carlos Corberan as a significant muscle injury, needed surgical intervention for proper management. Ajayi missed some important matches, including Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, during his recovery period.

Ajayi is expected to make a comeback to competitive football in the near future as he continues his rehabilitation program.
