The Governor of Benue State has appointed Mr. Denen Aondoakaa as the new Head of the Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. The announcement was made in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula.
Prior to this appointment, Aondoakaa served as the Principal Special Assistant in charge of the Delivery Unit for the governor. He also has experience as a branch operational manager at a financial institution.
Aondoakaa’s previous roles include working in revenue optimization at a regional office of an electricity distribution company and as a Technical Advisor at the Benue Internal Revenue Service. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Finance.
The statement confirmed that his appointment is effective immediately. Additionally, the former head of the bureau, Dr. Denis Akura, has been redeployed to serve as Adviser for Financial and Economic Strategy, Planning, and Development.
